Cancer is set to become the newest epidemic in the developing world, claiming a vast number of lives. Anatomic Pathologists of the world should be called on action to promote secondary prevention and early pathological diagnosis of cancer of the cervix uteri and breast in those countries.

He has authored many scientific articles and a monograph with wide international diffusion on the use of fine needle biopsy in the diagnosis of tumors. He is also an amateur photographer.
